This month’s sewing club looks at zips.

“Sewing club” is the name we give to our informal sessions that focus on a particular stitching technique or a mini-project.

You don’t need to join any club: sessions are open to all. There’s no pressure to complete the project on offer. Bring your own sewing work, discuss it with others or ask our experts for help.

At this week’s session, you’ll learn tips and techniques for inserting a variety of zip fastenings, including concealed zips.

All materials are provided. All you need to bring is a basic sewing kit.
