Ever wondered why a Dorset button is so called, or even what one is, what you’d use a gimp thread for, or how you’d stop a buttonhole from stretching?

Well, wonder no more, because in this techniques workshop, you’ll learn how to use the one-step buttonhole foot on the sewing machine with different types of fabric, as well as discovering the history behind the Dorset button and trying your hand at making one.

All materials and sewing machines will be provided.
